Introduction
Welcome!
Ventura Charter School of Arts and Global Education was awarded a grant from the California Department of Education to create a school based on its progressive, high-quality, student-centered educational program. Charter schools seek to expand educational choices for parents and children in the public school system to improve student achievement. The Ventura County Board of Education approved the charter petition in spring, 2006, thus creating an additional public school choice for parents and their children.

Ventura Charter School prepares its students to be global citizens of the 21st century by providing a rigorous and relevant curriculum for today's dynamic world. Our students will understand that life is interconnected and interdependent and will see themselves as active members in a diverse global community. We cultivate in each child a love of learning, a strong self-concept, and the ability to see themselves as autonomous, cooperative, respectful and productive lifetime learners.

Please visit Ventura Charter School for yourself. We welcome visitors and encourage you to discover our community.
