Welcome to Somis Union School District

Somis Union is a special place, serving students in kindergarten through the eighth grade. It is also at the center of the Somis community. Quality elementary education is the core mission of the District, providing rigorous and relevant instruction, using state of the art technology. Unique to this small community, the District works in partnership with all of the neighbors to provide opportunities and experiences beyond the classroom.
The campus bustles with activity from early morning till late evening. While maintaining the charm of original architecture, the modern facilities provide a pleasant and inviting meeting place for the community. Boys and Girls Club, sports programs, dance and drama offers after-school activities until six pm everyday. The Somis Music program provides instrumental music training and outstanding bands. Girl Scouts, 4-H, Somis Angels baseball are located at Somis. The Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) activities bring the whole family together for exciting fun. The Somis Education Foundation invites the community to participate in the life of the school.
