Welcome to the WEB page for Ocean View Elementary School. Home of the Cougars, Ocean View is a neighborhood school located between Grand Avenue and Highway 101 in Arroyo Grande, California. Our 27 credentialed teachers serve a student body of approximately 566 students. Our programs and curriculum are challenging and exciting. We have had lots of success with our programs such as: Readers are Leaders, Project Wisdom, Character Counts, Volunteers in Reading, Student Council, Homework Club, and a yearly talent show. Our active and supportive PTA plans many fun family nights such as a harvest festival, math games, literacy, movies in our cafeteria and an ice cream social. Our community of parents, teachers and students work together to enable each student to do his/her academic best in a safe environment.
