Recognizing the parent as the primary educator, we at La PurÃsima Concepción School seek to educate all who have been entrusted to us. We make no distinction in admittance regarding sex, race, racial or ethnic origin or social position. We endeavor to meet the children at the level of their needs and to develop their intellectual, spiritual, psychological, social, emotional physical, aesthetic, economic and civic potential. Being an ever-changing multi-cultural community, pride in heritage is enhanced through school-wide celebrations. We begin from the principle that our education program is intentionally directed to the growth of the whole person.
In addition to being a "school" we are "Catholic." We, at La PurÃsima Concepción School, believe that Catholic education is an expression of the mission given by Jesus to His Church. By weaving the Gospel message and Christ's love for us into the pupil's learning, we strive to build strong character springing from a value-centered curriculum oriented toward our Catholic/Christian Faith. Our faculty believes that as a Catholic School, we must attempt to create an environment which supports parents, responsibility to help their children become aware of the impact of God's offer of salvation. This perspective/concept, realized by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, invites a response which should flow through the school to the wider parish community.
