Welcome to

Hollow Hills Fundamental School!

Hollow Hills, A California Distinguished and National Blue Ribbon School, is located in Simi Valley, California northwest of Los Angeles. Our school is one of two Simi Valley Unified School District elementary schools designated as a “Magnet Fundamental School.”

Our motto “Commitment to Excellence” is implemented by the students, staff and parents. This commitment on the part of the entire school community contributes to student success. Volunteering and parent involvement plays a vital role in the school’s success.

Hollow Hills Fundamental School is a special place. Our school is one of two Fundamental Schools established in 1982 in Simi Valley, CA. Critical components of the Fundamental School program include:

Rigorous development of each student’s academic skills.

Structured consistent learning environment.

Warm, caring atmosphere.

Emphasis on traditional American Values.

What is a Fundamental School?

Student, parent, and faculty expectations are clearly defined and reviewed by the School Site Council to ensure continuing excellence. A strong PTA and dedicated parent
volunteers enrich the curriculum with programs such as the computer lab for all students, classroom computers including “on-line” capabilities in upper grades, P.E. program, library and art programs.

Hollow Hills Fundamental School is a great place to learn!
