Welcome to Gazelle Elementary School. We are dedicated to the belief that every child should have the opportunity to become prepared for his or her future. Gazelle Elementary School strives to maintain a positive and safe atmosphere. The staff is accessible and responsive to all students and parents.Because we treat all students with respect, it is the hope of our school, and a standard we wish to convey, that we value respect at our school.

About Us
Gazelle Elementary School is located in Gazelle, a rural community in Siskiyou County, California. Gazelle is between the communities of Grenada and Weed on Old Highway 99. Gazelle School has an enrollment of approximately 56 students and is made up of three self-contained classrooms housing students in grades K - 8th.
Gazelle Elementary School feeds into the Yreka High School and Weed High School. Historically, Gazelle was a farming community, a rail station, and had a meat packing plant and mercantile which served a vast area. Today, the community is comprised of ranches, a post office, and the school.
