Mission Statement

The mission of Arboga Elementary School is to provide each pupil with the education which best meets his/her individual needs, interests, and potential. This education will enable students to relate classroom learning to problem solving required in life experiences.

The perimeter of our campus is fenced with locked gates after school hours. Signs are posted as part of the safe school requirement, and all on-campus visitors are required to sign in at the office and receive "visitor" badges. If students must leave early, all parents/guardians or appropriately designated persons must sign the student out of school from the office.
There are two student bathrooms and nine classrooms ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade. Our Parent Teacher Organization center is housed in our multipurpose room along with our RSP classroom. In addition, we have a library and technology center that houses our Waterford and computer lab. Classrooms are well maintained and decorated by staff and students. Arboga School provides a host of programs that promote a positive learning environment: student recognition assemblies, Cougar Cards, Accelerated Reader "Reach for the Stars", parent teacher conferences, reading intervention programs, tutoring, attendance goals, and student jobs.
