TEACHING OUR CHILDREN TODAY TO ADVANCE OUR SHARED HUMANITY TOMORROW
Elementary School (AEACS)
AEACS provides an internationally oriented, culturally and linguistically diverse, academically rigorous and socially responsible educational experience for children of all races, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds that prepares our students for future success.

We accomplish this mission by "providing each student with roots and wings to thrive in a global world." Our students grow roots through celebration of the diverse cultural and linguistic heritages and traditions of our school community and the acquisition of foreign languages (German/English) immersion K through 5th grade; several hours of Spanish instruction added in 3rd grade). Students gain wings through exploring a rich curriculum based on the internationally acclaimed International Baccalaureate model.

Middle School (AEACMS)
AEACMS provides an international atmosphere in which students develop cultural acceptance that opens their vistas to diverse perspectives, translating rigorous interdisciplinary classroom instruction into emerging social responsibility.

Students develop an ethical foundation on which to stand as independent thinkers that are socially secure. The AEACMS student will become a creative, self-assured life time learner.

Think of the word RISE:

R=rigor

I=international, interdisciplinary

S=standards-based, social responsibility

E=excellence for everyone
